Unleash those Lashes.
False lashes seem to be one of those things that a lot of people are afraid of. It seems people are often intimidated by them. I probably once was too, but then one day I just went for it, and I’ve loved them ever since! I don’t wear them too often, but when I do, boy I feel glamorous!
The biggest thing I had to learn in my endeavor to learn to wear false lashes was to allow the glue to get tacky. You absolutely have to let the glue dry for about 30 seconds before trying to place the lashes on your eye. Otherwise they like to slip around and it’s hard to place them exactly where you want them.
Not everyone was born with a full thick set of lashes, but false ones are an inexpensive way to really take your everyday makeup look up a notch. I don’t love the feel of how heavy the false lashes can be sometimes, so I’ll usually cut the lash strip in half and just apply them to the outer edges of my eyes. This is more comfortable for me, and one set of lashes is like two!
After the lashes are applied, I like to go over the lash line with a black eyeshadow to make sure there is no glue peeking out.

I love the look of false lashes but I just can’t seem to get the hang of them. 😕

i had a hard time at first, but once i started letting the glue get tacky it was much easier to just lay them along my lash line. It definitely takes a little bit of practice, but you’ll get it! : )

You’re a beauty! I love false lashes and I feel so fancy when I wear them, but whenever I do, they always end up peeling away at the inner corner after a while. Does that ever happen to you / do you have any suggestions for that..?

Thank you! : ) and I’ve had that problem too. When I trim the lash so it just lays on the outer half of my eye, I don’t get any peeling. You should also play with the lash a little before applying it so it’s not so stiff right out of the package. Hope this helps! Happy lash wearing!
